Jacob Jamron
CEO
Jacob founded BOCA Pharmacy Group in 2001 in the South Bronx, an underserved New York City neighborhood. “I started BOCA because chain pharmacies were not meeting the needs of the community,” he says.
I am able to make others believe, just like I do, that there really is no problem that cannot be solved or tackled. You only fail when you stop trying.
Jacob founded BOCA Pharmacy Group in 2001 in the South Bronx, an underserved New York City neighborhood. “I started BOCA because chain pharmacies were not meeting the needs of the community,” he says.
Jacob gets the most satisfaction out of the success of his employees. Many staff members that were hired as teenagers have grown professionally because of opportunities they were offered at BOCA. BOCA pays for professional education and certifications for all staff members. “We encourage employees to create opportunities for themselves. We are not only making a positive impact in our community with our customers, we are also making a positive impact on our employees’ lives.“
Jacob supports numerous charity organizations in the Bronx community. He has received an award from Vistage International, was a judge for the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards, and is on the board of the Alexander Robertson School.
He is a graduate of The Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Long Island University.
Kazi Jamal Uddin
Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
As System Administrator, Kazi is responsible for Boca Pharmacy Group’s customized system that tracks 340B prescriptions. The system collects real-time data at the point of service and offers user-driven data matching to withstand audit scrutiny. He manages all computer hardware, system design, network connectivity, automation strategy, backups, and security.

As Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Kazi is responsible for Boca Pharmacy Group’s customized system that tracks 340B prescriptions. Kazi holds an MSc in Computer Science, along with postgraduate certifications in Cloud Computing and Cybersecurity from MIT. He also possesses 10+ industry-standard certifications, including Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Linux Administrator.
Kazi started at Boca in 2012. “Boca is unique because I’m given the freedom to be creative, autonomous, and self-starting,” he explains. “I really believe in the value of teamwork, and I’m proud to be in a team that is collaborative, hardworking, and resourceful.”
Ronald Jamron

Ronald has been with Boca Pharmacy Group since 1999. He has a degree from Columbia College of Pharmacy.

Staff Pharmacist
As Staff Pharmacist, Ho Jung Kim counsels patients for medication, and discusses medical problems with medical staff based on pharmacological info. She also manages workflow and prescription data.

Ho Jung Kim started at Boca Pharmacy Group in 2008. Ho Jung says, “BOCA pharmacy provides lots of support for pharmacists. Leadership has always appreciated our efforts to grow in our jobs. BOCA has potential to grow faster than any other independent pharmacy!”
